The Challenge
Humans are social animals who live longer and live better when part of a strong family and kinship group
Today a rapidly growing number of men are living longer but not necessarily better.
This can be the result of:
-
poor health and/or disability.
-
having few close friends.
-
separation from family.
-
a poor social life.
-
social isolation.
-
social anxiety.
-
living alone
The number of men aged over 65 who live alone in the UK is set to rise to 65% to over 1.5 million by 2030. The challenge is real, growing and requires an effective solution know.
Our Mission - Support older men to live longer & live better by helping them improve their social lives.
Our Vision - End social isolation in older men
Our Values - Act with kindness, empathy & respect
